The word bodysuit makes me cringe for so many reasons. Buttons at the bottom, one piece, skin tight....all good reasons to avoid ever buying one. But, after much convincing, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did.
If you didn't know it by now, high-waisted jeans, skirts, and shorts are all the rage right now. I have to admit, I was also not a fan of this trend but, I've recently bought in. Good high-waisted jeans are tough to find when you have don't have the flattest tummy but don't fret. There are some good ones that will hold you in and make you look even thinner. If you aren't convinced, give these a try and I think you will be sold! They are as smooth as butter!!! They are from Express and I am wearing a size 2 for reference.
Back to bodysuits...I'm here to convince you need on! Afraid they might be too tight? They are. That's ok. With the right bodysuit you WILL be able to hide some of those bumps and rolls, I promise. These Body Contour Double Layer Thong Bodysuits from Express can do the job. They double layer and the smooth material of this particular bodysuit has amazing coverage and does what exactly what it says. It contours to your body, is flattering and creates a seamless look. I'm wearing the v-neck sleeveless style. There is a high neck thong option, a scoop neck, and a square neck option. All are the same smooth, flattering material. There are so many beautiful colors so be sure to check out my links. There are also some double layer v-necks, and camis made of the same material that are NOT bodysuits but, are just as fitting. This line is from Express is fabulous! I highly recommend giving one of them a try! They are perfect for layering under blazers, kimonos, or jackets. They look amazing with high-waisted or mid-rise jeans, pants and skirts. I am wearing a small in the bodysuits but I recommend sizing up if you don't want to feel too confined.
