Spring Staple- A White Blazer

I think its fair to say that most of us could not wait to get through the winter and into spring. It has finally arrived and I know I could not be more excited! With a new season, comes new wardrobe pieces! Even if you may not be able to afford to buy an entirely new spring wardrobe this time of year, you can always add one or two affordable essentials that will bring your newer pieces to life.

A blazer is a spring must have because, lets face it, here in NJ, the weather isn't always sunshine and rainbows when March hits. All the pretty dresses and swimsuits are stocked but, we are still worried that snow might hit! Adding a white blazer can go over most of your spring/summer outfits and keep you warm without making you look like you're stuck in winter!

Add a white blazer to any floral dress with sandals or continue to wear those neutral booties. You can definitely wear a floral dress, skirt or a maxi dress with a bootie in the spring! This is probably my favorite tip for being able to wear those spring florals even when its chilly out, add a layer! Throw on jean shorts, leather shorts, or linen shorts and add that blazer for transitioning your day look to night. Throw that blazer over a graphic tee or basic tank with jeans and put on your favorite pair of fashion sneakers for an edgy look. Yes, you can wear that blazer with sneakers!! Keep the look casual by wearing a pair of distressed jeans with it. The possibilities are endless.

If you are looking for a dressier style, you can try a double breasted blazer, a cropped blazer, or one with an open front and no buttons. I'm linking several options for you!
