Old Navy Finds

Summer is more than half over and for me that means its almost time to get back to teaching. Mid August also means back to school shopping is upon us. I've always been one to have a new outfit for the first day of school, since I was a teenager. As a teacher, not much has changed! I love wearing a new outfit on my first day of school! I know that in my classroom, the temps are high until October! This means shopping for short sleeves, light pants, and skirts and dresses are still happening. I found some adorable blouses and lightweight pants that are perfect for work and my fellow teachers. These tops have the prettiest ruffles, they are feminine, and versatile. I also love the colors because they give off a fall vibe and can easily be transitioned into cooler weather.

I paired all three tops with my favorite linen/chambray blue pants. I bought these pants in the spring and I fully plan on wearing them throughout September. They are drawstring, wide leg, and comfortable as ever! The color is almost like denim, but they look much neater, making them a perfect pair for the classroom. I am wearing an XS with flats but could also wear them with heels. All three of the blouses run slightly on the bigger side, I needed an XS in each one. I love that they are loose and flowy and longer in length so they can be worn with skinny pants. They can also easily be tucked in for a more polished look. I styled the shirts both ways for you to see. I also added a cardigan over one to show how it can be layered and used into the fall. The blouses do come in one other color, as well as, another floral print. They are super affordable and make the perfect business casual outfits. Old Navy definitely came through this time around and gave me some cute, comfy, yet put together options for the upcoming back to school season.
